App Disclaimer

  • Before using the APP make sure you read the instructions on the website found here

  • The app is intended to be used within the limitations of a ‘snapshot’ survey when long term data logging might not be necessary or suitable.

  • Taking into account the limitations of ‘snapshot’ measurements, if upon comparing the two sets of data (before and after) there is no apparent change in conditions. After a further review of the situation, there may be a need for long term data logging over a period of weeks. This is undertaken using data loggers that record conditions inside and out together with surface temperature loggers.

  • No liability is accepted for the accuracy of any analysis provided by the App as this information is provided only for guidance purposes.

  • The app should not to be used as a substitute for a professional building survey, and has been designed to offer an enhanced atmospheric moisture analysis via published data.

The type of personal information we collect

We currently do not collect or process any personal data or identifying information. We only indirectly process information from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store around installations, activations and usage of the Colemanator app in aggregate.

No personally identifying information is used, stored or processed via the app.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • If you email us about a support query

We do not share this information with anyone outside of the organisation, Colemanator Diagnostics.

Our email provider is Godaddy, they store and handle the emails for Colemanator Diagnostics.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting dpo@colemanator.co.uk

(b) We have a legitimate interest – you have emailed us.

 

How we store your personal information

If you email us, your information is securely stored. We will keep email correspondence for 2 years. We will then dispose your information by deleting the emails from our email provider GoDaddy.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
